Bill Sebastian is an avid soccer player and kickball enthusiast! Born in Minnesota, but raised a Texan, Bill first entered the acting profession as Tiny Tim in "A Christmas Carol" in Claremore, Oklahoma. After attempting a professional soccer career, he majored in Cinema at Southern Methodist University. He was last seen onstage as various roles in "Love in America" at Hollywood's Met Theatre. Among his favorite acting projects are QWERTY (2012) where he acted alongside his wife, A Four Course Meal (dir Clay Liford, 2006) where he got the chance to play a zombie-impersonator across from Mojo Nixon and Deadroom (dir Nick Prendergast, 2005), critically acclaimed selection at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, TX
Besides his directing work, Bill has experience as a Director of Photography and Editor on numerous independent projects in Los Angeles and Dallas. He has been nominated for a Video Premiere Award for his work on The Riff (dir Mark Allen, 2001), and was among the winners at the Dallas Video Festival’s 24 Hour Video Race four years in a row. His latest short Robots Are Blue (2005) is garnering vast success at over 50 domestic and international film festivals, taking home a slew of honors and awards, and appearing on the Independent Film Channel. Bill's feature, Midlothia was released on DVD in 2008 and will be available via digital download on multiple platforms this year. His most recent feature QWERTY, a dark romantic comedy about a closeted Scrabble savant, is set to be released late 2012. Some of Bill's other directorial accomplishments can be seen at here.
